Sunday, August 30th, 9:00AM | Cornerstone Cares Day, LV Campus!
Building relationships is core to the heart of Cornerstone. We believe that change and life transformation happens in the context of relationship – with God, with each other, with our community. Out of this, Cornerstone Cares Day has been born!
Occasionally, a month has a 5th Sunday. In all campuses, we will intentionally reserve those dates for a Cornerstone Cares Day. This is opportunity to collectively care for our communities beyond our normal lifestyle of being the hands and feet of Jesus 1-on-1.
We will not have our normal Sunday services on the weekend of each Cornerstone Cares Day. Instead, we ask that you participate in our Online Service outside of the service project times. Sunday at 9:00AM, we will meet in our parking lot and disperse into our groups after a couple announcements and prayer from Pastor Jason.
Project #1 | Home Repair. If you have handy repair skills, please join us serving one of our neighbors who is in need of home repairs. Please wear work clothes and bring the following: water, gloves, and tools.
Project #2 | Neighborhood Clean-up Walk. We will enjoy fellowship and prayer while we serve by picking up trash. Please wear work clothes if you feel necessary. Trash bags will be provided by Cornerstone.
Project #3 | Prayer Walk. If you are unable to join us in trash pick-up or handy projects, please consider participating with the group taking a Prayer Walk around Leadville. We will pray as led by Holy Spirit. This could look like listening prayer, specific prayer over people and places, collective, or individual. You may like to bring a Bible and/or journal in order to write down any words from listening prayer for our community.
